How to come up with a disruptive solution

Today I want to show you how to make sure your disruptive solution REALLY disrupts.

The way to do this is actually very simple: Start with the result you want, and work backwards to now.

I know that sounds a bit strange, but please bear with me. You see, when you approach matters this way you'll discover two things very quickly.

First and foremost, you see whether your idea really has legs. If you CAN'T get from there to here, you'll know you're on to a loser and you can abandon the project before you've got too much time and money invested in it. You can then move swiftly on to your next idea.

Secondly, you'll know the EXACT steps you need to follow to achieve success – before you can do that, you've to do this; before you can do this, you've got to do that; and so-on down the line.

Now you can break devising your disruptive product or service up into “mini goals” that are easily achievable. This way you'll start to see success sooner, and you won't get discouraged and give up.

This is important because so many great ideas for products or services that could change the world for the better never see the light of day because their inventors don't know how to make them happen, or go about things the wrong way.
